On-site support

Our school has participated in the "On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services Scheme". The professional team of HKYWCA Y Seeds Wellness Service (Yseeds) composed of educational psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, physical therapists, special child care workers and social workers provide on-site training for young children with special needs. Based on the "family-oriented" concept, we provide support to concerned parents by helping them to nurture their children with special needs with a positive attitude and effective skills. We trust that through early identification and early intervention, and the deployment of diversified strategies, the potential of children could be realized.

Service target: Children aged 2-6 who are studying in our school and those who have special needs in learning after assessed by the assessment centre

Integrated Programme

Our school has offered an integrated programme funded by the Social Welfare Department to provide training and care for children with special needs in learning to facilitate their future integration into the mainstream education and into the society.  Individualized training plans for children with special needs in learning are prepared by responsible special childcare worker, and daily individual or group training with appropriate home training are offered. There are regular school visits by speech therapists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists to provide training and support. Teachers maintain close communication with parents to grasp the development situation of children, and help them to realize the potential of their children.

Service target: Children aged 2-6 with special needs in learning who are transferred by the central referral system.
